API Key Access rights

While creating your apps (both private and public) you will be able to define what your apps should be able to access :

For private apps

It is a good practice for private apps to define only the relevant permissions you are asking for the scope of your app.

For instance, asking permissions for the "Surveys" feature while our app focuses on "Classrooms" management is out of the scope you are providing.

For public apps

Whenever you are submitting one of your private apps for publishing on our App Marketplace, it become mandatory to only ask for the relevant permissions your app will need.

Both out of security and in order to provide the best user-friendly experience possible.

Permissions used wisely

As part of our reviewing process, we will refuse apps asking for non-relevant permissions.
